I love this place. I love the food and atmosphere. But is ALWAYS good. BUT sometimes they take forever to bring the food... out of 10 times it probably happens 4 times... and its not fun when you bring a hungry toddler. Otherwise the staff is always wonderful and food again delicious.
The food tastes okay but the SERVICE IS THE WORST!!!!! My first time there was a bad experience because the food took forever to get to our table and it was COLD! I am not the type to send food back (ever) but it was very upsetting to having to eat a completely cold breakfast. We decided to just let the waitress know. She offered to replace but we declined. They have an apple pancake on the menu that I really like so I decided to give the restaurant a second chance, SAME DISASTER!!! Breakfast took forever to be served and DEAD COLD, AGAIN!! At this point my friends and I were really pissed off. THE WAITRESS CALLED THE MANAGER, A BLOND OLD LADY WITH THE WORST - MOST ARROGANT ATTITUDE anyone could ever imagine. With her CUNT face on, she approached our table, four of us, and without any acknowledgement, smile or sympathy, started to pick up the plates and said that the food was going to be redone. We were truly chocked at her demeanor, we didn't say a word. Around half an hour later, she brought the food back herself with the same NASTY ATTITUDE! I did not eat. We left and NEVER AGAIN!
The Egg & I manages to combine amazing taste with healthy choices, so when you leave, you do so feeling full; but without the guilt associated with eating a less than healthy breakfast.
The best way to start your day is with something healthy and delicious. Thankfully, that's just what's on the menu at this health conscious restaurant.
Ate here for the first time last week. The food was really delicious and my friend's food was pretty good. The waitress was friendly when taking the order but failed to come back to see if we needed anything! Overall, I would definitely eat here again. We made it at 9am on Sunday and thank goodness it wasn't packed yet!
Food was ok, the service sucked, Disorganized. We did get 15% off the bill. Would I go again? Most likely no. I would suggest, re-train the staff on proper serving procedures.
